As far as we generally recommend buying shaggy carpets, we do not recommend choosing them blindly, without thinking about the current arrangement of the room. The rug must match the interior design of the room and, first of all, be matched to it in terms of color.

First, the colors

Well, when it comes to choosing a rug, the color scheme is the most important. Harmony with the color of the walls and the floor is important, but the carpet should not be of the exact same colors as this will make the room seem monotonous. So it is good to choose a similar, but not the same shade or use the contrast and choose a color from the opposite color palette. For bright, austere rooms, neutral shades of beige or gray, or pastel colors introducing a slight distinction will be suitable. The glamor style of the room, which is decorated in one shade, will like the strong colors of the carpet, e.g. purple or green, but then you should remember to use other accessories in the same colors. There is no one solution here. If you're not sure what will fit, it's always a good idea to seek the advice of a friend or specialists.

Where to put a shaggy rug?

The answer to the above question is simple: wherever we would like to create a cozy atmosphere. Carpets with long pile, due to their appearance inviting to relax and pleasant to the touch structure, are perfect for the living room. The soft material on which you can rest your tired feet after the whole day will make you dream of relaxing in the salon at work. The long-pile rug will also appeal to children, who will certainly be happy to have fun on it. Since we are talking about children, shaggy rugs will also be perfect for children's rooms, after all, this is where the kingdom of games is usually located. Speaking of places where such textiles can be placed, it is impossible not to mention the bedroom, where they will be especially appreciated in the morning, when we get out of bed and feel the cold on our feet. Where are such rugs not suitable? Where there is a high risk of the carpet getting dirty easily - in the kitchen or dining room. When we place them there, we will have to take into account the necessity of frequent cleaning of carpets, which in the case of this type of carpets is not the easiest matter.
