The history of carpets goes back to ancient times. The art of making these popular textiles comes from Iran (or more precisely: from old Persia). When talking about the price of a carpet, you should first take into account the material from which it is made. As we already know from the previous section, natural materials are the most expensive. In terms of durability and strength, natural carpets are second to none.
